Be Bangle- Kindness Is My Go To, But F*** Off Is My Wingman

Be kind.

Such a simple concept. And as a parent, I doubt a day goes by I don’t talk about it. 

It’s what you want your kids to be. 

It’s what we want the world to be.

I like to assume everyone is kind. 

I give everyone the benefit of the doubt. 

I assume you are kind until you prove yourself otherwise.

And even then I will try to understand. And reply with kindness.

Because Kindness is my go-to.

But…

F*** Off is my wingman.

Take advantage of me again. F*** Off.

Treat my loved ones badly. F*** Off.

Disrespect my family, my people. F*** Off.

Discriminate against members of my community. F*** Off

Donald Trump. F*** Off.

Just because I want myself, my children, and the world to be kind, doesn’t mean I’ll let bad people step all over me. And you shouldn’t let them either.
